AiM Solo 2
The AiM Solo 2 is available in two versions, either as a pure GPS lap timer or additionally with data recording as Solo2 DL.
The Solo2 has all the functions that are required for use in acceleration, mountain and circuit racing. The desired route coordinates are transmitted to the SOLO 2 via WiFi or the measured data are transmitted to the PC for evaluation. Thanks to the 12V connection, it can also be supplied via the on-board network in addition to the internal battery.
The Solo 2 DL version also has an integrated data logger that records, displays and saves the data via OBD II or from the vehicle CAN bus (AIM can currently communicate with around 1,000 control units).
Both the dash logger and the lap timer have an internal 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and an integrated 10 Hz GPS. The internal ring buffer has a capacity of 4 GB and can record with a total sampling rate of 5,000 Hz with a 12-bit resolution.
